On Tuesday last week, 16/05, PCH Salto received a visit from participants of the Jovens de Ouro 2.0 Program in Ouro Preto.
The Jovens de Ouro 2.0 Program is a public policy in the municipality of Ouro Preto and aims to stimulate the technical-professional training of young people from Ouro Preto, as well as providing citizenship training and supporting their entry into the job market. The Program operates in the 12 districts of Ouro Preto, where young people have the opportunity to participate in lectures, workshops and various orientations as an instrument to promote their first job, valuing their potential and promoting young people’s employment.
Five young people, residents of Santo Antônio do Salto, participated in the visit, as well as the Program’s social worker, psychologist and pedagogue.
During the visit, the group had the opportunity to learn about energy generation, how remote controls work, visit the powerhouse and then participated in a chat where the leader of the Maynart Complex, Samuel Oliveira, and employees were present.
