Last Wednesday, 07/20, 6th grade students from Escola Municipal Aleijadinho, located in the District of Santo Antônio do Salto, in Ouro Preto, conducted a guided visit to the HGP Salto hydroelectric plant facilities.

Before beginning the visit to the facilities, manager of Environment and Communities, Juliana Pena, and the supervisor of the Maynart complex, Vitor Oliveira, introduced the entire process of energy generation to students, from the strength of the water in the turbines to the delivery of power to the transmission towers.
